When will I pay?
You will only be charged if our campaign succeeds in reaching our goal. If our project is fully funded, your card will be charged at the end of the campaign (approx. Dec 10).

How can the Maya turn into a crossbody bag or briefcase?
To carry Maya as a crossbody bag, take the strap from the detachable clutch bag and attach it to the rings on the side of the bag. To carry briefcase style, simply take by the grab-and-go handle at the top of the bag. The backpack straps can be tucked away for a slick and stylish carry.

What size is the Maya backpack?
Our bag is 28L, with dimensions of approx. 16”H x 11”W. The perfect size to fit your 15” laptop and all other necessities.

How is the bag ergonomic?
-Anthropometrics body measurement was taken by an Occupational Therapist to determine the average width of a female back in order to design the strap that distributes the weight across the back. -We looked at shoulder breadth and considered all different body shapes and bone structures. Maya was created with combined good ergonomic design input. The adjustable straps is key to custom fitting the bag to any body shape. -Ergonomic top handles allow for a correct neural spine squat when picking up the bag and less effort and distance to lift the bag than a typical briefcase style.

What is your return policy?
As Kickstarter is a donation-based platform, we are unable to offer refunds received from our campaign. The money we receive goes towards building the DIOSA brand, creating future products, developing new and sustainable ways of fashion and so much more.
However, we want to ensure you’re satisfied with your reward. If your product is damaged or malfunctioning, we will happily exchange it for you within 30 days of you receiving the package.

Who is responsible for Duty/Custom Fees?
Each Maya bag will be shipped from our headquarters in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. This means that each reward shipped to Canadian backers will not have import duties or additional fees. However, if you are ordering from the US, please be aware that these fees may be in place and will be required to be paid upon delivery. As these fees are out of our control and vary from country to country, we recommend that you search your local custom fees before placing a pledge.

What are you doing to ensure COVID-19 safety?
Our team works remotely so we’re able to continue working in our own safe environment. Anytime a product is handled, we ensure the environment is sanitary and gloves and masks are worn. *Please note that the video seen on our campaign page was produced in compliance with local COVID regulations.

How do shipping fees work?
Our team is so excited to be offering worldwide shipping for our Maya Collection; but this has posed a unique challenge for Kickstarter.
As we will be shipping your rewards from our base in St. John’s, Newfoundland, it is impossible for us to estimate shipping costs for everywhere across the globe. That’s why if you have ordered from within Canada or the Unites States, your shipping will be included in the original pledge. However, if you have ordered from outside these regions, we will charge shipping costs once the campaign has ended and we have received your shipping address.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
